Terilee Wunderman provides individual, marriage & family therapy to children, adolescents and adults of all ages. She provides expert witness consultations for matters involving trauma, abuse and neglect, adoption & foster care, gender and sexual orientation, and parental fitness. Dr. Wunderman consults with Our Kids of Miami-Dade & Monroe, providing psychological evaluations to inform treatment and placement decisions. She also provides public presentations and in-service trainings to clinicians and graduate students on matters of adoption, foster care, gender & sexual orientation, prevention of medical errors, and spirituality & counseling.
Dr. Wunderman serves as Adjunct Faculty in the University of Miami’s School of Education and Human Development and the University of Miami Counseling Center. Appointed as Courtesy Staff at Nicklaus (Miami) Children’s Hospital, Dr. Wunderman provides consultations in the departments of psychiatry, psychology, neurology and endocrinology. She is a Florida Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. Dr. Wunderman is a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology current President of the Miami-Dade & Monroe County Psychological Association, and Membership Chair of the Florida Psychological Association.
Through Creativity Coaching, Dr. Wunderman assists individuals and groups to explore the natural healing process of creative self-expression. She utilizes a combination of expressive writing, art techniques, and non-denominational, practical spirituality. Creativity Coaching is not psychotherapy, although Dr. Wunderman may encourage creative self-expression and journaling within her psychotherapy practice to enhance and support her clients’ personal healing and growth experiences.
